MakerSpace Club
Al Salam National Schools aim to offer students an alternative learning style focused on design, manufacturing, exploration, and the exchange of experiences. To support this goal, the MakerSpace Club was established as a workshop accessible to all students and interested parties within the Al-Salam National Schools community.
The club serves as a venue for acquiring critical thinking skills, collaborative work, creativity, and self-confidence—skills essential for the 21st century. It focuses on various fields within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), providing a dynamic environment where students can engage in hands-on learning and innovative projects.
We currently focus on the following areas in our educational program:
- Programming and Algorithms
- Invention, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship
- Electronics (including Microbit and Arduino)
- Design and 3D printing
- Laser cutting
- Robotics (covering various types of robots)
- Skills for Freelancers
